We offer to construct your custom home on multiple foundation types. The most common and efficient foundation type we offer is a monolithic slab foundation. This type of foundation places the finished floor level of the home approximately 6-12” above the yard. This type of foundation is perfect for those who don’t desire to have steps built into their home.
For clients who prefer an elevated, or a raised foundation type, we may suggest an elevated slab or a crawlspace foundation. Both foundations are generally 24-36” above the yard. While some site conditions or neighborhood requirements determine the nature of the foundation type, we educate and allow our client to chose the type of foundation so they may make an educated decision that accomplishes both their goals and needs. Its porosity allows the building envelope to absorb and evaporate water when required. Additionally, there are an endless amount of brick and mortar combinations available to accomplish multiple types of architectural styles.
